Single Instance Application with Smart Client

If Process.GetProcessesByName(Process.GetCurrentProce ss.ProcessName).Length
1 Then

MessageBox.Show("Another Instance of this process is already
running", "Multiple Instances Forbidden", MessageBoxButtons.OK,
MessageBoxIcon.Exclamation)
Application.Exit()
End If

This work's fine when I run the executable from my local machine.
But it doesn't work when I run it from the web server(Smart client). Please
HELP.
Is there any other way doing it.

I'll appreciate your help.
