Running stored Procedure in vb.net results in timeout occasionally

I've created a console app that runs several SPROCs. While running the app
if I access a CD or check my email, I get a timeout error. I'm not sure
why. Is there a way to set a wait variable or something? Does anyone have
any suggestions on how to resolve or debug this issue?

What are you using to execute the stored proc? If its a SQLCommand object,
you can write:

Command.CommandTimeout = 0

and it'll never timeout! (or of course, more sensible value, such as 120 or
something [seconds])
myCommand.

Thanx. This worked!
I’m feeling a little stupid that I didn’t see this myself.
