Form created or not?

Hi

I am getting my form using; frm = New frmMyForm.

How can I check if this statement has been executed? I have tried If frm Is
Nothing Then, but it does not work.

Thanks

You can not check it, but when the execution of the next line starts, the
previous one must have been executed. Sorry, I don't find the right words
because I don't understand the problem.

I create and show a form then I hide it instead of closing it. The next time
I want to see if it already exist in that case I don't re-create it using
the New frmMyForm instead only show it. If I am not able to check if it
already exists then I will always end up creating a new instance.

Thanks

Can't you just use a try catch statement?

try
frm.visible = true
catch
frm = new frmMyForm
msgbox "New Form Created"
endtry

or something similar to this?

Ahh, I see now. You want to know whether the statement has already been
executed previously.

Usually writing

If frm Is Nothing then

should do the job. As you wrote it doesn't work, I guess you declare "frm"
locally?
