Hi
I am working with isual Basic. Net 2003 and I am trying to
connect to the pubs database sample which comes with sql
server.
At first I use the OleDbDataAdapter object from the
toolbox which launch the wizard.
2.I select New Connection, which launches the Data link
prperties, I enter the server name, user name, password
and select the database,test the connection . I receive a
message "test connection succeed".
Now when I click ok to close the data link properties I
receied an error message " Unable to connect to database.
It's only possible to connect to SQL Server Desktop Engine
databases and Microsoft with this ersion of Visual Studio"
Is there any workaround for this problem?
I will appreciate any information that might help.
