VB6 has dropped VSS from my project

Even if I "Create Project from SourceSafe"...to try and
convince vb6 that it is in SourceSafe... it doesn't matter.
The next time I open my .vbp, I lose my Check Out/In
options in my project explorer and in the Tools/SourceSafe
menu...
