HELP: Cannot rename file in Solution Explorer

This may sound stupid but I can't rename the WebForm1.aspx in the
solution explorer.

The file is located in my local web server at
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Lab3-VB-Starter\WebForm1.aspx

Is there some configuration problem in my IIS setup?

Thanks,

BJR

Hi Bruce,

Did you get any error message when you rename the file in the solution
explorer?
If so, what is it?

You may try to check if the WebForm1.aspx is set ReadOnly or if the file is
in use when you rename it.
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Lab3-VB-Starter\WebForm1.aspx
You may need to rename the file in the windows explorer, i.e. navigate to
the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Lab3-VB-Starter\ and rename the WebForm1.aspx file.

Please have the test and let me know the result.
