Printing garbage on HP2100

When I print from vb.net to HP2100, some characters print as garbage.
If I change the driver to HP5 everything prints fine.

Has anyone printed successfully to a HP2100 using HP2100 driver?

I have heard about printing problems with some HP printers, it seems
that the driver you use doesn't work with .NET.
