How capture video fotograms in VB 6.0

P: n/a
Hi to all:

I have a big problem and I write to ask for help. Sorry if this message does
not arrive to the apropriate group. I have selected them paying attention
but I am not sure to do it well.

I want to capture a fotogram of a media player control in VB6 and I capture
the screen as in the section "Visual Basic 4.0 16/32 Capture Routines" of
this
URL:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...microsoft.com:
80/support/kb/articles/Q161/2/99.asp&NoWebContent=1

This program takes with the DLL a picture of all the screen and after
selects the interestig zone.

My problem is that this code captures fine all the PC screen but not the
video reproduction screen of Media Player that apears black. I think that
this is because DirectX rites directly in the video controler and it does
not memory maping but I am not sure.

Someone can tell me how capture the fotograms? Please!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be fine too if someone talks me about another control that enables
the capture. They must exist because there are video reproduction programs
that enables the capture but not the WMP.

You can answer me in english, french or spanish. I can read the three. I
will read the news but if you want you can write to
berruetaNO(at)SPAMiutbayonne.univ-pau.fr without NO SPAM.

Thanks. You will really be very helpfull.
