..NET applications rely on the .NET framework being installed on the host
system. I wasn't aware that there was a complete implementation of the .NET
framework for any platform other than Windows so far? The mono project is
for linux and Corel are supposed to be doing a version with Microsoft for
Linux too. Maybe I missed something?

There is no complete implementation for the .NET framework for Mac OS-9
(AFAIK there is only an implementation of the CLI for Mac OS-X available).
Are you talking about ASP.NET applications running in a web browser?

Hi Gang,
I think Richard is asking if there are any new features that ASPX natively
implements that wouldn't be supported by a Mac. For example in ASP 3.0
under normal circumstances everything that was sent to the client was plain
text so that wouldn't be a problem. I realize one could go to a lot of work
to create something like a dynamic PDF file or something, but for the most
part the ASP result was an HTML page so the compatibility with that rendered
ASP document was quite likely. Are there any new ActiveX Objects/file
formats exported by ASPx using the default objects that might not be
supported?

If you think about acessing ASP.NET-Pages with a Mac, that should be no
problem at all.
