Hello
I am using VS.Net 2002, my icons of XP type look ugly, and i have saw the
article.

i have added the manifest file. Sometime the icons show very good, but
sometime the icons look
very ugly.

Must i use the VS.Net 2003? Is The Framework v1.1 necessary to run VS.Net
2003 program?

VS.NET 2002 doesn't work with the Framework 1.1.

There is a special ("cheap") upgrade offer available for $29 US. This offer
is open only until September 30, 2003. You will get more information about
this offer here:

Hello
The article

http://vbaccelerator.com/home/NET/Co...s/Getting_File
_Icons_Using_The_Shell/article.asp

I add the XP Type icons to imagelist, the colorDepth is 32Bit and size is
32*32
picture.largeimage= imagelist

The icons look ugly!

Thanks

Hi yxq,

It's possible that the icons are 48x48 in the icon file and are being
reduced down to 32x32 which will mean a loss of quality.

Always or sometimes? All icons or some icons?
