ActiveX param from html

I have created an ActiveX which works fine in html. But the <param
name="name" value="value"> does not work. Why? I am using VB 6.0.

This is a VB.NET language group (no relation to VB Classic version 1 to 6).
Please turn to one of the VB Classic ngs (microsoft.public.vb.*).

This is a VB.NET group (see group name). Please turn to one of the
microsoft.public.vb.* groups.
