error bug 438 - kb article #258207 - object does not support this property

runing vb6 for 5 years, now on win xp. The above article
explains how to reproduce the error ' object does not
support this property' It does not provide a resolution.
The program breaks on simple statements, ie On Error
GOTO, and in the resize form event. Cant raise anyone at
MS to discuss this problem. Any suggestions would be
greatly worked on. Thanks. John

Notice that this is a VB.NET ng (no relation to VB1-6). Please turn to one
of the VB Classic groups (microsoft.public.vb.*).
