What is this file?

Hi

I have a form frmcontacts in the solution explorer. If click on the plus
sign next to the form name, I see another file frmconatcts.resx. What is
this resx file and how is it created?

Thanks

It's an XML File that all winforms have which has information about the form
in it.

When I create brand new form, I don't see the xml file? Is it automatically
created at some stage?

Yes, if you want to hide it, make sure "Show All Files" is unchecked in the
solution explorer toolbar.
