References on web menus

Anyone know of some references on the web about how to create "good" web
menus. I'm not very happy with ours, but I have not seen many examples out
there. I'm looking for code, not commercial software. Thanks.

This is a VB .NET language ng. Please turn to the ng for ASP.NET questions:

I disagree Herfried. Menus have been discussed in this newsgroup before. I
am also wanting to write them using VB in the code behind.

Eric,
You did ask "good" and I think than that you mean "good looking" webmenu's
and not technical good old fashion buttons.
I am some weeks active in this newsgroup and like you, I say VB.net is not
only a classic window page but too for a VB.net webform, a VB.net webform
with a webservice and a VB.net window form with a webservice.

But I doubt if you will get an answer in this newsgroup for "good looking"
webmenu's made only with VB.net.
Therefore you need to use the events like "on hoover" and so on, as far as I
know they don't even exist in vb.net, I thought the only thing you can do is
to add the attributes for using on clientside with vb.script or javaScript.

If the asp.net group is the best choise for this I do not know, because you
use that of course very classic wherefore JavaScript groups is too a good
choise. But when I look in the Asp.net group I see a lot of discussions
about those things.

I hope that this helps
