MDI parent form question

Hi,
is it possible to set the background color of an mdi parent to something
different than the default ugly gray ?

I have a listbox and splitter on the lef. can i prefent child windows to
be moved bellow the listbox ?

Yes, when you open an mdi child, and move it to the left where the
listbox is. it slips under the listbox.
