Hi folks.
I have a problem with a Datatgrid.
When my User selects a row in the Datagrid he is able to scroll through the
Grid by using the Mousewheel.
The prob is that when the selectedrow is scrolled out of the grid u cannot
use the mousewheel to scroll anymore.

Does anyone know zhis prob and maybe has a solution?

the solution :

AddHandler Me.dataGrid1.Mo useWheel, addressof dataGrid1_Mouse Wheel

Private Sub dataGrid1_Mouse Wheel(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
MouseEventArgs)

Me.dataGrid1.Se lect()

End Sub

I downloaded Access Mouse Scroll Hook from www.lebans.com. I have Windows 2000 and Access 2000. It did not work on my machine. I copied the dll to c:\Winnt\system folder and then opened the database in 2000 (I converted the database to 2000 in order to test it). I havent copied any code to my application yet since it did not work yet. Is it supposed to be only for A97? I didnt think so. Please guide me if I am doing anything wrong....

Hi all, In our database we have a form with a subform. If this subform contains some records, but they al 'fit' in this subform one can scroll down with the mouse. But one CAN NOT SCROLL UP with the mouse again. If one wants to see the top records again in this subform you have to use the vertical scroll bar (arrows)!! (if the subform contains many records, so one can use the vertical scroll bar) the mouse wheel is working down AND UP.

I have a form designed as a Continuous form which displays one record per line. Taking account of the header and footer and the size of the screen, I can display 30 records at a time. I can see other records by scrolling up or down with either the scroll bar on the right of the screen, or the up and down arrows which are above and below this scroll bar; or I can use the scroll wheel

Help! I am having a very aggervating problem with Access. Call me lazy, but I like to copy and paste addresses from Access into microsoft work, like for sending letters where I only need about 3 envelopes. The problem is that some of my envelopes are coming back for "wrong addresses". I figured out that when I'm in Access my information is scrolling to the next record sometimes, without me meaning to do that. So, is there a way to lock...

using VS2005 and c# to create a windows forms application. One of my forms has a panel which I've added various controls to. Now, I've set the autoscroll property to true, which is great, but I can't use my mousewheel to scroll up or down and its annoying the hell out me. How do I get a panel to scroll on mousewheel scroll event? Hope someone can help.

Hi, I have a Windows Forms application which uses multiple child forms (MDI interface). The height of one of the child forms is larger than the height of the MDI client area, so when this form is visible, the vertical scroll bar of the MDI parent appears automatically. What I want to do is write a routine within the MouseWheel event of the MDI

The help system says you can "get" (not set) the number of lines the mouse moves upon one "notch" of the wheel. The value for my system is 4. How do I force it to do only 1. Give me the EASY way, please. (I'm putting this code into a "mousewheel" event, so I want the number of lines scrolling to be the same for my computer as well as any computer using my program. Thus (for example) I don't want to go into the Control Panel and change...

Hi, my first post here. I am running Access2000 SP3 under XP Pro SP2 and I have a Logitech MX 3000 cordless mouse. My problem is that the mousewheel will not scroll in a listbox. It will scroll anywhere else - in the VBE, in subforms, in all other applications, just not in a listbox. I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to how to get it to work in a listbox. There seem to be quite a few articles about how to stop the mousewheel in...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
