I've been searching for a couple weeks off and on for something like
this as well - haven't found a lot. The only idea I had off the top
of my head was to somehow call the gnupod from a VB.Net project - I've
seen some articles about converting Perl modules to .Net assemblies
but haven't gone down that road too much.

If you find anything, please post it here...

Can anyone point me to some techniques on manipulating the XML file that iPod uses to manage its contents? Basically I want to (1) export the XML file off the iPod, (2) change things in the XML, (3) import it back onto the iPod, and (4) have my iPod behave according to that new knowledge. Steps 1-3 I have down, but for some reason step 4 is not going the way I want it to. Thanks, Greg

Hi, I'm a VB6 developer and recently moved to .NET and I'm wondering if we can use it to develop a new application for Apple IPOD. I just got my free IPOD from http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=19633398 and the display is very nice and has some games and address book and I'm thinking if we can build functions to synchronize with outlook and other applications. Also I'm looking into importing my playlists from real player or any other MP3...

I have found a really cool deal. I thought I would share it with everyone. You can get a 60 gb ipod photo brand new. All you have to do is get 8 referrals and participate in one promotion (cancel before it ends) and you can get an ipod. My friend did it and he is waving it in my face! I am trying to get enough referrals. Check it out here. http://www.freephotoiPods.com/?r=21360900 Thanks!

I just completed this offer for a 60 gb photo ipod and it is awesome! My friend got one from it and he is waving it in my face and taunting me! Anyways, all you have to do is complete a promotion offer and cancel it before the 30 days trial is up and then get 8 referrals. I recommend doing the rhapsody promotion because it is only $0.99 and you get instant credit towards your ipod. It is so cool. Check it out. ...

Hi, Since May 2005 there is a port of python (v2.4.1) for Apple iPod. Porting was an 'easy' job, the only consideration was how you can write with a iPod, ipodlinux people did an interface called iPodRead that allows you type into iPod scrolling left or right on the wheel. (This affects to the file Parser/myreadline.c, line 47). Furthermore, is necessary run configure with options: --without-threads,

I need to develop a "docking station" simulator for Apple IPod in .NET. The PC acting as a development station connects to the IPod docking station using a parallel port. Where is this software available ? Where can I find the Ipod docking station specs? as an alternative, is a "docking station" library available in .NET? thank you very much

Yesterday I downloaded Moyea video converter to convert swf (flash) files to mp4 for my iPod. The converter works fine and the videos come out in excellent quality when I try playing them on my iTunes, but when I put them on my iPod it only played audio and showed a black screen. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
