ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host while trying ssh.

Initially i tried vncviewer in putty. After that i am unable to login to the system using ssh or telnet. not only from my IP, from another ip too i could not login to the remote host

I am using putty in windows to connect to the Linux machine. In putty, after login to the linux machine i tried to use VNCviewer. It showed some error message and i closed the session.
After that if i tried to connect to the linux machine using ssh, then it shows the above said error which was
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host while trying ssh

So you're SSH'ing into the box - are you able to run commands like 'ls' and 'ps' ?

After that, you open VNCViewer. Are you following this procedure? Or are you attempting to do something like open it from the remote host? Also, what is the error it posts?

Then, after that, your previously established SSH session is terminated by the server, is that correct? Are you able to open a new SSH session into the remote device?
