how to do partation in ubuntu 9.04

Hi ,
I removed windows and installed ubuntu 9.04 . i need to do disk partation to make my backup drive please help me to do that.

If you need to repartition your drive AFTER you have installed your operating system, then you need to use something like gparted. Its a sweet, open source tool for just that sort of thing. But, beware, if things go wrong, you may find yourself re-installing your OS. This is a risk you take with any and all software for this purpose.
