how to control and set bandwidth in LAN

Hi All,

I am new in open source platform. we are early shifted from
Microsoft to RedHat Linux . But now we are facing some problem related
to network (internet) Bandwidth for local Lan or group of user. how
can i control this in linux platform ?

I'm sure there are various options, one of them being the Linux Bandwidth Arbitrator (Check on the bottom of the left side for downloads.) Also, this article might be helpful. But the most promising article I found is this one, chapter 9.

Guess, how I found these? That's right: Google! The search terms were: linux control bandwidth You could have managed that yourself, couldn't you? So please, try searching yourself next time.
