Multiple shells in Linux

Why multiple shells are used in Linux, even born_again (Bash) the default shell is able to operate all the functions??????

It's all about personal preferences and specialisations. You only need one, but then you only really need one programming language or one word processor. But there are many, because some people find one thing more important and others prefer another thing. The syntax is similar in most shells, but there are differences because of these preferences and specialisations.
