What does "... is run from inetd" mean?

Looking at

[insert]man swat[/insert]

It has the line

[insert]swat is run from inetd[/insert]

What is inetd?

How do you run from inetd?

OK no need to reply I get it now :D

inetd is the daemon responsible for handing network interfaces and starting network services (don't kown why I didn't guess that from the name :D ) and since Swat is a network service on port 901 it is inetd that gets to run it when something tries to connect to port 901.
