Automation for the kickoff of jobs

Hi,

I have two process one is SAS process and an ETL process. While running the SAS process the ETL process is onhold(OH).As soon as the process finishes the ETL process has to be started which is currently done by the manual intervention.

What i need is to automate the ETL process in such a way that as soon as the SAS process finishes this ETL has to to start(Auto), based on a condition which gives the status of SAS process.

Could you please let me know how to code the script as well give me an example.

Thanks&Regards,
Mansur.

How do you administer these right now? By the command line?
I think what you will want to do is capture the exit code from the SAS process, examine that in your script, and make calls to your ETL process.
