EXE Files are actually Windows files. What exactly are you trying to do? Is the EXE an Archive, that should be unpacked? (I think "gzexe" would be what you want then.) Do you want to use a Windows Program under Ubuntu? (How about "wine"?)

EXE Files don't natively run under any Linux, but with programs like "wine" you can run a lot of EXE files on Linux nevertheless. Search for a wine tutorial for more information.
