If your purpose is to learn and practice some commands I would suggest you to use Knoppix (Live Linux Filesystem On CD),
see www.knoppix.org

Hi,
Thanks for the reply but I didnt find any software to download. I want to download software in which all commands should run.
You could have a look at Cygwin. It is a Windows-installable command line interpretter that gives you much of the functionallity of the Unix/Linux/BSD CLI. If I recall correctly, it also interfaces with the Windows file system (i.e. using Vi through Cygwin will create a file that can be viewed by Windows).
Hi Folks,
Havent heard of a unix simulator on windows. Cygwin runs many unix commands but not most. If your intention is to practice then you would have to install any distribution of Linux ( Slackware I guess is the closest to raw unix) or better BSD (FreeBSD, NetBSD, Open BSD).
You can also download Solaris for Intel from SUN's site. That is a proper unix. But if you are a newbie i would sugest to familiarize your self with a freebsd or a linux system.
Regards,
String

If you don't want to install any Unix on your computer, you could also install a virtual machine (e.g. VMWare, Microsoft Virtual PC) and any Unix on that. Then you'll be able to startup that machine within Windows and use any Unix programs or commands you desire. However, it will be slower than a actual installation on your PC would be.
Greetings,
Nepomuk
