About RPC function

Does anyone have any idea about how RPC function in Unix works??
If I have
int test(const int *a,double b,char *c) function then which data will be sent from client to server and which data will be sent from server to client???
Plzz, reply me asap....

Take a look at this article. If you are curious after reading this, set up a packet sniffer such as wireshark and track which data gets passes around.
