Creating LOG file in unix

Hai all,

i would like to know how to create a log file for a wap page in a gateway. and also how to create sessions for a particular wap page in unix..if anyone knows plz do reply me..it would be very help full for my project..

1) Create a file. (*NIX files can be created via 'touch')
2) Write to it. (depends on your language)

What do you mean 'a wap page'?
