can we use "contains" under where clause for a Date Field?

can we use "contains" as filter condition under where clause for a Date Field?if yes please give me example?if no please give me any alternate option?

The CONTAINS predicate is used for fuzzy string matching. I have no idea why you would need to use fuzzy string matching on dates. Explain in detail what it is you're trying to filter, provide sample data and results.

For your question to qualify as valid you need to supply more information. One short sentence is inadequate for a question - especially in this case as necessary information is missing.
