How to solve memory leak in SQL 2000

P: 2
Hi Everyone

My ms sql server 2000 jobs always fail to start when there is a heavy query running by the jobs. This have cause a lot of incovenient to me. The service pack I using is sp3.

I found out it is because of memory leak that cause the problem. Can I upgrade to sp4 in our production environment? Will it any issue?

Currently the only way is to restart the server. Thanks in advance
