Hi
i have 4000 rows in a column that has numeric values such as 12345678 in each of them
how would i change the values to have a comma in it such as 123,45678 ???

I need to change all of them.

If the comma always goes in the same place could you use:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. UPDATE    Table
  2. SET        Column = substring(Column,1,3) + ',' + substring(Column,4,200)

if this is for display purposes, you might as well handle that on your front-end, much easier, less stress to the server.
