Sql database from local system to Web hosting server

Hi ,

I have a problem with importing database from local system to web hosting server.
can you Please tell me the steps to import database from local machine to web hosting server.I am using Sql Server 2000 in my system.can we import database without using Business intelligence development.
If anyone have any idea please solve my problem.

First, ask your hosting provider. They will usually give you what they need to host your database.

The easiest way, if they would allow it, is for you to backup your database, send them the backup file and they'll restore it. You might need to change some settings on your front-end application to connect to the db.

I can able to Back up and restore database to/from my local system.But i am not getting how to import MS Sql database to web hosting server.can you please tell me the steps to import database to web hosting server.

You're going to have to ask your hosting provider. Each one have their own setup.

IF you are allowed to connect to your distant table from your computer and not only from the hosting management only, then you can very simply use this tool to clone and transfer the data for you
