Storing data in File System

Hi,

I am developing one asp.net application about Employee and project management.In this I want to use file system instead of database to store the data.Please help me how to use file system with asp.net and how to store the large volumes of data in file system.Please provide me some idea on file systems.

Can you elaborate more on what you mean by "file system"
I think this might be more a question for the asp forum

SQL server is a database and you don't want to use a database.
