Help on DTS and selective dates

Version: 7.0

I have created several packages that will export data from MySQL to
SqlServer. But user have control on which dates to process, it could be one
range of date or multiple range of dates. The dates are stored on separate
table on sqlserver called "tblMySQlDates". Below is sample structure:

from_date to_date
1/1/2003 4/30/2003

from_date to_date
4/1/2003 6/30/2003
8/1/2003 12/31/2003

Is it better idea to create table also on MySQL to store the dates? I do not
have access to this server, only data. I will need to ask the database
administrator. Or is it better to assign global variables from vbscript to
accomplish above? How?

Thank you.
