Table Description

Hi All,
In SQL Server how can I get the descriptions of tables in a
database?

From MSDN help I could find a way to get the description of columns
using the following extended property

SELECT *
FROM ::fn_listextendedproperty (NULL, 'user', 'dbo', 'table',
'Reports', 'column', default)

Thanks
Regards
Sobhan

You should be able to do this with fn_listextendedproperty as well.
(Provided that any extended properties have been entered for the tables!)
As I can read in Books Online, you specivy the penultimate argument as
NULL.

Please see Books Online for details.
