What SQL version am i running? Free or not

P: 2
New to SQL. Don't know what version of SQL this is, and is it Free or not? When i open Microsoft SQL server management studio express 2005, point to the server, i get this - server name (SQL Server 8.0.760) i guess its the build #. I looked around with no good results. Thanks.

This would get you basically all that --

select 'SQL instance = ' + quotename(cast(SERVERPROPERTY('servername') as varchar(25)))+', '+cast(SERVERPROPERTY('productversion') as varchar(10))+', '
+ cast(SERVERPROPERTY ('productlevel') as varchar(10))
+ case when SERVERPROPERTY ('IsClustered') = 1 then ' (clustered)' else '' end
+ case when SERVERPROPERTY ('IsFulltextEnabled') = 1 then ' ,Fulltext enabled' else '' end
+ ', '+ cast(SERVERPROPERTY ('edition') as varchar(31))
