how to preserve users when restoring a database

Hi,
I restored a database 2 months ago. After the restore, I lost all my
"users" for that database. It has been a while, so I don't remember
the detail of what I did.

How can I reserve all the users when restoring a database from a file?
Did I do something wrong?

Thank you in advance,
Eddy

How exactly did you restore it?

In any case, sp_change_users_login is probably what you needed.

Thank you in advance,
Eddy
