Slow performance on ADP forms using filter

Hi,

I have an ADP file with a main form featuring several subforms.. to get
to the record I want I have just used a simple filter on the main record
source, which is updated by altering a text box. The problem is that
this performs very slowly.

Before I made the ADP, I had an MDB with linked tables, this did not
have the same slowness problem.

Any ideas??

Many thanks,
Chris
