How can i read information in Transaction Log in SQL Server 2000?
The format as such is not documented. There is an undocumented DBCC
command, of which the exact syntax escapes me now. Anyway, the output
from that one, has never told me very much.
There are however a couple of third-party tools on the market. The
most commonly used is probably Lumigent Log Explorer,
http://www.lumigent.com/. More recently Log PI,
http://www.logpi.com
has appeared on the market.
