Data transfer from 6.5 to 2000 - Microsoft SQL Server

Hi !

Can anybody tell, how to transfer the sql server 6.5 Data to SQL
server 2000. I use the upgrade utility, but it gives an error.

You might be able to do it with Super*SQL - it creates an ASCII export
file which it can import into another database. I found the Beta
version at www.sqlmagic.com.

You might be able to do it with Super*SQL - it creates an ASCII export
file which it can import into another database. I found the Beta
version at www.sqlmagic.com.

Hi

You can use BCP or DTS. With BCP you may need to use the -V 65 option. There
are instances where you may need to correct the data in the 6.5 database
before it is imported especially if it has a history of being service
packed. e.g Primary Keys containing null values.
