Timeout on running views in Enterprise manager

Hi Guys

Upon creating and running a view in the SQL Svr 2000, Enterprise manager
that takes more than 30 secs to return, I get an 'ODBC SQL Driver Timeout
expired'. I have tried resetting every timeout I can find but it makes no
difference. Its damned irritating as this is an ENORMOUS DB and most of the
views I create are going to take 60 seconds + to return.

Anyone know how to reset the timeout to suit the circumstances.

Cheers

To change the timeout, look in the menu Tools - Options - Advanced.
However, by default it is set to 0, which means do not timeout. You
may want to try running your query in Query Analyzer instead, to see
if you get the results you expect, as EM has a history of being rather
quirky.
