Email Generation from within SQL/Server 2005

Hi all:

Quick question...

Is there a capability within MS Sql/Server to automatically generate
an email upon the completion of an event?

Hi,
You need to install report server. It has email capability. Hope this
helps.

Define "event".

But yes, SQL Server can send emails and you can trigger them a number of
different ways.
