Problem SQL7.0 Server (MSDE) - ACCESS MDB

Hallo,

folgendes Problem:

Zu einer MSDE-Datenbank wird in einer MDB (Access 2000) eine
Verknüpfung zu einer Tabelle angelegt.

Wenn die Tabelle geöffnet wird, erscheinen nicht die Datensätze mit
Inhalt, sondern nur die Meldungen "gelöscht", "Fehler" etc. in den
Datensätzen.

Das Problem tritt nur auf, wenn auf Tabellen zugegriffen wird, die
ein Feld vom Type "numeric" besitzen und wenn auf die Datenbank,
die sich auf einem Win2000 Server befindet, zugegriffen wird.

Werden die Felder der problematischen Tabellen von "numeric"
nach "int" umdefiniert, funktioniert alles. Aber "int" kann nicht die Lösung
sein :-)

Die gleiche Datenbank (als Testdatenbank), die sich auf einem
PC mit WIN 2000 Prof Workstation befindet, macht keinerlei
Probleme.

Aktuelle Patches sind eingespielt, Versuche mit mehreren ODBC-Treiber
Varianten am Client wurden auch durchgeführt - ohne Besserung.

Das Problem liegt meines Erachtes eher am WIN2000 Server, aber ich
habe keine Idee, wo ich da ansetzen könnte.
