oledb and nt anonymous logon

I have implmented an OleDb client. Recently I started getting
intermittent failures from IDBCreateSession::CreateSession(). "Logon
failed for NT AUTHORITY \ ANONYMOUS LOGON". I create a single
connection. Then I have a function that establishes a session on
OleDb. It is executed hundreds of times and one time the middle, it
will fail. I have about 30 sessions open at any given time. Has anyone
seen this? I am using MDAC 2.8 on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP3
on a client box. MS SQL Server 2000 SP3a on a W2K Advanced Server on
another box. I get the error trying to connect from client to server.

Thanks for any insight,
Steve
