Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'

Hello,

I am trying to gain data from a linked server using:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. select * from [LINKEDSERVER].[DBNAME].dbo.CampaignFAct
  2.
However, receive back the error in the title of this post:

Msg 18456, Level 14, State 1, Line 1
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.

Does this immediately make apparent what the problem is? No problems to provide more info...

Thanks

J

Your linked server is using the default autonomous login to connect to the other server. Try to configure it using Trusted Connection or provide a username/password to connect.
