Updating many records

I have an Excel file of 1362 rows and 30 columns. I need to load it
into my database to update addresses and phone numbers. Each record
has its own ID number, which is defined in the Excel file and in the
database. The database is Millenium Version 7.2.1.1. I can't really
find any signifigance between any of the records. Is there a way I can
just load them into my database and update each record? Maybe by using
the ID number?

I'm sorry, Dane, I missed something. Where does MS-SqlServer enter the

Well, my database is SQL platform. I think it can be done through Data
Transformation, but I'm not sure.

Which version of Microsoft SQL Server is it, Dane? Microsoft SQL Server
2000? Microsoft SQL Server 6.5? It makes a difference.
