SQL Server Error: Exception_Access_Violation

When running .net client application against SQL server
2000 (SP3) database, we periodicly get this message in the
application log on the server:

Error: 0 , Severity: 19, State: 0 Process generated fatal
exception C0000005. EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server
is terminating this process.

Any ideas or suggestion on the server error are greatly
appriciated,

Thanks,
Aida
