Hello:
I'm a FoxPro developer setting up my first SQL Server (7.0) app. and I
need to ask how to log on as SA? I guest this sounds stupid, but when I
created the logons for the group, I set them up as "Windows
Authentication" and now the logon happens automatically when I start
Enterprise Manager so I never get a chance to logon as something else.
Is there a way to force Enterprise Manager to let me log on as SA?
Thanks,
Richard
Not sure if it works the same way in 7.0, but in SQL Server 2000 you
can just change the authentication scheme to "Mixed Mode."
(right-click the server in Enterprise Manager, select properties, and
go to the Security tab. On the security tab, select "SQL Server and
Windows Authentication") Afterwards, you'll be able to use either a
Windows account or SQL account.
