DB Maintenance Plan Append Vs Overwrite

Hi,


I am using SQL Server 2005, and using Maintenance plan to take the DB Backup on daily basis so please let me know which one is effecient should i use Append or Overwrite option.

Please

DB Backup plan to be made as append or overwrite
