Oracle date problem in SQL SERVER REPORTING SERVICES 2005

P: 55
I have a query that gets a few fields from an oracle 9i dB based on a date Reporting services 2005.The results dont match where clause in the query...

select to_date(ENTRY_DATE),sum(amount),substr(comments,1, 10),store

from old_ap_invoice

where trunc(entry_date) = '08-JAN-08'

And comments like '%GRN%'or comments like'%DSD%'

and store ='245'
