format date

Hi can u please let me know that :

i am using datetime as the datatype...

and it is returning the time like :
2/19/2008 11:32:01 PM

but i want to display it in
19 February 2008

I think u can solve that if u use something like Format([dateField];"dd mmmm yyyy")

CONVERT(CHAR(11),GETDATE(),106)
